About
What this site is
A phone number and a set of pages that try to tell you something true about your town before you use it.
(888) 217-6291Calls are answered by the network named in the disclaimer at the bottom of every page, and work is carried out by independent contractors licensed in their own states. This site does not employ technicians, does not dispatch them, and does not warrant their work. Verifying license and insurance is the homeowner’s job, and the pages here say so rather than implying otherwise.
Nothing is booked from a call unless you agree to it.
Where the pages come from
Every town page is built from public data rather than written from imagination, and three sources decide what a page says.
The American Community Survey (five-year estimates, U.S. Census Bureau) gives the housing: how old it is, whether homes are detached or share walls, whether there are crawl spaces or slabs. That decides where a technician looks first, which is what the town pages are about.
The USDA plant hardiness zone gives the winter. It decides whether a population is knocked back every year or never is — and that changes the job, not just the wording: clearing an infestation is a different task from holding a barrier against something that never dies down.
The federal imported fire ant quarantine (USDA APHIS) is the only one of the three that says a pest is actually present rather than merely comfortable. Where a county is inside it, the page says so and names the source.
No prices, no ratings, no reviews, and no claims about response times appear anywhere on this site, because none of them could be substantiated.
